My Ways and by-ways – Nosing into bushes

All I did was nip out for a bit down the village for some oranges and a couple of other bits yesterday afternoon. It was cold, grey and otherwise uninspiring down in Slawit. But then I passed some bushes near the canal.

Even in the chilly grey of February in the Colne Valley you can find colour, texture and composition if you look for it.
